Solution

The correct option is A Rs.62,Rs.34
Let Ram have Rs. x & Mohan have Rs. y.
Then by the first condition,
2(x30)=y+30
y=2x90 ........(i).
Again, by the second condition,
3(y10)=x+10
3y=x+40 ........(ii)
Substituting eq(i) in eq(ii),
3(2x90)=x+40.
5x=310
x=Rs.62
Putting x=62 in (i),
y=2x90y=2×6290=Rs.34
i.e. Ram has Rs.62 and Mohan has Rs.34
