Total work $=100$%

If both work together then efficiency $=5+3.33=8.33$%

Let Ram and Shyam finishes a work in $x$ days then

$x=\frac{100}{8.33}$

$x=12$

If both of them work at it together , in $12$ days they will be able to finish the work.
