Ram has a LED of resistance 10 Ω which will only light up if the current provided is 1A. Below 1A current it won’t light up, above that the LED will burst. He also has 10 two volt cells. Find out how many cells will Ram need to light up the LED?

Ohm’s Law states that, V=IR. So to light up the LED we need I = 1 and R = 10 so the potential across the LED will be
V=IR =1 x 10= 10V Since he has 2 volt cells so he will need 5 such cells to make a 10 volt battery.
