The first sound heard by Shyam is direct sound and second sound is the reflection of the sound from the wall. The time gap between two sounds is the time taken by the sound to go to the wall and come back after reflection. So sound travels twice the distance 'd' in 2 seconds.
Hence, 165 + 2d = 2 × 330 = 660 m.
Thus, d = 247.5m.
