Raman has two containers each of volume 10 L, labelled as X and Y. Container X has 10 L of orange juice while container Y has 10 L of helium gas. He carefully transferred the contents of both the containers into another two containers of 20 L each, without any leakage.

Which statement is true regarding the new volumes of orange juice and helium gas?

Orange juice is a liquid which has a definite volume. So, its volume will remain 10 L even being transferred to a 20 L container.
On the other hand, helium gas has an indefinite volume and it occupies all the available space in which it is kept. So, the new volume of helium gas will be the volume of its new container, i.e. 20 L.
