Let the property of Ramdeen $= R s . 100$

Son gets $R s . 40$

Remaining $= 100 - 40 = R s . 60$

Then daughter gets $60 %$ of $60 = \frac{60}{100} \times 60 = R s . 36$

Remaining $= 60 - 36 = R s . 24$

Then wife gets $= R s . 24$

Difference between the sum of wife and daughter $= 36 - 24 = R s . 12$

If the wife gets $R s . 12$ , less then his daughter then property $= R s . 100$

If the wife gets $R s . 1920$ less then his daughter then property $= \frac{100}{12} \times 1920 = R s . 16000$
