Making a tea is a chemical change because in a chemical change, a substance combines with other to make a new substance and you can not get the initial substance back.
In making tea, we add tea leaves into milk and boil it, after making of tea we cannot get back milk and tea leaves.
Turmeric is used as natural indicator for base. On adding to the base its yellow colour converts to red colour. Soap are basic in nature thus when turmeric powder added to soap solution it changes to red colour.
