Let's take a two digit number 'ab'.

Hence the original number will be 10×a+1×b.

When we reverse the number, it will become 'ba', the reversed number will be 10×b+1×a.

If we add both the numbers we get
(10×a+1×b)+(10×b+1×a)=11(a+b)

So the sum is divisible by 11 and hence the remainder will be 0. the given statement is false
