Rashi went on shopping with her mother. There she saw a toy whose actual cost was Rs 200. If the shopkeeper sells it at a loss of 15%, find the price at which it is sold. [4 MARKS]

Application : 1 Mark
Calculation : 2 Marks

Given that,

Loss is 15 % of the cost price

15% of Rs 200

15100×200=30

Loss=30

Now, SP = CP - Loss

SP= 200 - 30 = 170

Selling price of the toy is Rs 170.
