The order of decreasing hotness of three zones in a candle flame is:
outermost > middle > innermost.
From the figure we can see, Rashmi has placed her rod in the outermost zone which is blue in color. Hence, her rod will be the hottest. Whereas, Aditi has placed her rod in the middle zone which is yellow in color. Since, the temperature of middle zones is less than the innermost zone. Hence, Rashmi's metal rod will be hotter than Aditi's Rod.
