Length of field = 160 m
Breadth of field = 120 m
Since, Ratanlal wishes to divide the field into two equal parts,
length of each part=160 m2=80 m
The breadth of each part will remain the same.
So, breadth of each part = 120 m
∴ Area of each part = length × breadth
= 80 m × 120 m
= 9600 m2
