Let the numbers be 2x and 3x

LCM of 2x and 3x=6x

According to the question LCM is 36 then

$\therefore 6x=36$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{36}{6}=6$

$\therefore$number are $2\times 6=12$ and $3\times 6=18$
