We know that (a+b)(ab)=a2b2
Now, if an expression of the form (ab+cd) is given, we can rationalise that expression by multiplying it with (abcd) since
(ab+cd)(abcd)=a2bc2d
Thus, to rationalise (372), we multiply it with 3+72.
