Question

Rationalize the denominators of 17-6

Open in App
Solution

Given expression

17-6

To rationalize it we have to multiply the denominator and numerator by 7+67+6

We have to use identity here (a+b)(a-b)=a2-b2

17-6×7+67+6=7+6(7)2-(6)2=7+67-6=7+6

Hence we get 7+6 after rationalization.
