Given,
Ravi bought 40 chocolates for ₹20 each.

We know that if the cost per chocolate increases, then the number of chocolates bought for the same amount will be less.

So, Cost(x)1Number of chocolates(y)
x1 × y1 = x2 × y2

Given,
x1 = 20
y1 = 40 chocolates
x2 = 20+5 = 25
and y2 = Number of chocolates
y2 = x1 × y1x2
y2 = 20 × 4025 = 32 chocolates

Hence, Ravi could buy only 32 chocolates.
