To earn some profit cost should be less than the selling price.
Cost = ₹60 per kg
Deal A =
₹200 for 5 kg so selling price of 1 kg
= ₹200 ÷ 5
= ₹40
This deal will not give any profit because ₹40 is less than ₹60
Similarly Deal B =
₹300 for 5 kg so selling price of 1 kg
= ₹300 ÷ 5
= ₹60
This deal will also not give any profit because the cost and selling price are the same so Ravi got no profit no loss.
