Ravi has purchased a vehicle at Rs.60,000. He sold it at a price 30% less than its value to Amit. Amit spent 5% of the amount he purchased in repairs. Find the percentage decrease in the price of the vehicle, including the repair price also.
Amount at which Ravi sold the vehicle = Rs. 60,000–(60,000×30100)=Rs.42,000
Amount spent by Amit on repairs = Rs. 42,000×5100=Rs. 2,100
Total amount spent by Amit = Rs. 42,000 + Rs.2,100 = Rs. 44,100
Decrease in price of vehicle = Rs. 60,000 - Rs.44,100 = Rs.15,900
Percentage decrease = 1590060000×100=26.5%
