The material needed is only for lateral surfaces, the base being the earth. Hence we have to find L.S.A. Thus
L.S.A$=4\times \frac{1}{2}\times a\times l=4\times \frac{1}{2}\times 5\times 6=60m^2$.
Hence $60m^2$ material is required to make the tent. Its cost is $60\times 250=15000$ rupees.
Thus Cost of the material$=15,000$Rupees.
