The correct option is C 3000
Let the number of ₹100, ₹50 and ₹10 notes be 2x, 3x and 5x respectively.

So the total amount Ravi has is 100×2x+50×3x+10×5x.

According to the given data,
100×2x+50×3x+10×5x=400000
200x+150x+50x=400000
400x=400000
x=400000400
x=1000

The number of ₹50 note is 3x=3×1000=3000 notes.
