Question

RBCs are eukaryotic cells but they are having many properties of prokaryotic cells.
For eg they dont have membrane bound organelles.
Then how they are a eukaryotic cells?

Dear student.

All cells in human beings are eukaryotic. Though RBC's lose their nucleus during final stages of maturation they are eukaryotic. RBC, when begins their life possess both nucleus, mitochondria and ribosomes. RBCs /(Red blood cells) need to remove cell structures upon maturity in order to carry oxygen very efficiently to the cells, utilising space vacant by these cell structures.
