Solution

The correct option is B False

Vaccination:

  1. Vaccination is a simple, safe, and efficient way to protect yourself from deadly illnesses before you get infected. It boosts your immune system by using your body's defenses to create resistance to certain pathogens.
  2. Vaccines teach the immune system to make antibodies as they would when exposed to the disease. Vaccines, on the other hand, contain only dead or weakened forms of pathogens such as viruses and bacteria, so they do not cause illness or risk complications

Immunity:

Immunity is described as the body's ability to protect itself from infectious (foreign) pathogens. There are two types of immunity that the body produces after vaccination against the disease.

(I) Temporary immunity: This is an immunity created for a limited time. A good example is the cholera vaccine, which immunizes for about 6 months.

(II) Lifetime immunity: This is a lifelong immunity. For example, the smallpox vaccine provides lifelong immunity.

Antibiotics:

  1. Antibiotics are effective antibacterial substances against microorganisms.
  2. Antibiotics are widely used in the treatment and prevention of bacterial infections because they are the most common form of antibacterial agents.
  3. Bacteria can be killed or suppressed by these substances.

Final answer: The given statement is False.
