Solution

The correct option is B II, III and IV only
Collenchyma is an example of a simple permanent living mechanical tissue. The cell wall is made of cellulose, hemicellulose and pectin.
The cells are varied in shapes and there are no intercellular spaces as they are filled up with pectin.
Collenchyma is found in the aerial primary parts such as leaf margins and young stems of dicot plants.
They are absent in the roots except in aerial roots of some plants.
When chloroplasts are present in the cells, the tissue is referred to as chlorenchyma. This helps in photosynthesis due to the presence of chloroplasts in them.
