Circulatory system of animals

Heart. Atria, Arteries ,Capillaries, Veins.

The circulatory system consists of the heart, lungs and blood vessels. The heart consists of two atria and two ventricles which pumps blood to all parts of the body. The arteries and the capillaries carry oxygen rich blood to all parts of the body. The veins carry blood low in oxygen to the heart.

Excretory system in a human

Kidneys, Ureter, Urinary Bladder, Urethra

The excretory system of human beings consist of two bean- shaped kidneys, that filter blood to form urine. Urine formed pass from the kidneys into the urinary bladder through the ureters. The urine is passed from the bladder through the urethra to the outside of the body.

Transport of substances in plants

Root hair, Xylem and Phloem

Water is absorbed by the root hairs in the roots of the plant. The water is transported up to the leaves by the vascular tissue called xylem. The food prepared by the leaf, is transported to all parts of the plant by the vascular tissue called phloem.
