Yes it is true that the image which can be obtained on a screen is called a real image and the images formed on a cinema screen are real and inverted images.
However we see erect objects in front of us because of the role played by human brain. The optic nerve sends this image signal to the brain and electrical signals are in turn received from the brain which makes us see objects erect and not upside down.
