Join A to A, B to B etc. Extend these lines. Where they intersect gives the central point of the resizing, which is (1, 1).
To find the scale factor of the resizing, divide one of the lengths of ABCD by the equivalent length of ABCD e.g. AB/AB = 4/2 = 2, so the scale factor is 2
