The correct option is D Wrong totalling of the Trial Balance
There are various reasons for the trial balance not balancing. All the account balances are written in the trial balance and then both the debit and credit side is totalled and matched ,and if they do not match then the reasons are found and rectifying entry is passed.
When there is a totalling error rectifying entry cannot be passed as it is a calculation mistake and not accounting fault.
