Reduce the equation x+2y6=0 to slope-intercept form and find its slope and yintercept.

The given equation is x+2y6=0
It can be written as 2y=x+6
y=x2+62=x2+3
which is in the required slope-intercept form.
On comparing with y=mx+c we get
m=12,c=3
Hence Slope=12 and yintercept=3
