SImplifying the algebraic expression

Simplification rule: If there is a "-" sign before a bracket, then the signs of all the terms inside the bracket changes but if there is a + sign before the bracket, then no change of signs.

12(a-3b)-23(14a-43b)=a2-3b2-2a12+8b9=a2-2a12+8b9-3b2=6a-2a12+16b-27b18=4a12-11b18=a3-11b18

Therefore, the simplified result is a3-11b18.
