Represent a forest food chain with the help of flow chart. Also find out the amount of energy available at the third trophic level, if plants absorb $1000$ kilo joules of energy from the sun.

Solution

According to 10% law of tropic level, each trophic level will get 10% of energy from its previous trophic level. So, if a plant has a NET of 1000 KJ of energy then 100KJ of energy will transfer to the next level.
