Representing the given complex number in polar form.

Given,z=1+i

z=1+i=212+i12....(1)

Let the polar form of the given equation be z=rcosθ+irsinθ....(2)

Comparing (1)and(2)

We get ,r=2 and θ=π4[cos45°=sin45°=12]

Thus, the polar form is z=2(cosπ4+isinπ4).
