Paramecium has two types of nucleus- micronucleus and macronucleus. Macronucleus perform common cellular functions and micronucleus takes part in sexual reproduction. Organism of opposite sex meet and join to each other at oral groove. Micronucleus then divides meiotically and produce four haploid nuclei. Three nuclei disintegrate and remaining one divides mitotically and nucleus swaps into both of the cells. Then two haploid nuclei fuse in each cell and form new diploid micronucleus.
Thus, the correct answer is option (B).
