Question 57
Reproduction is essentially a phenomenon that is not for the survival of an individual but for the stability of a species. Justify.
Reproduction is a process in which genetic material is transferred from one generation to the next through DNA replication. DNA replication takes place with high constancy and considerable variations which are major advantages to the species for stability in the changing environment. This is why reproduction is essential although it is not primarily for the survival of an indivisual and it also needs a lot of energy.
