R1R2R1+R2=6Ω

Apply hit and trial method:
Take R1=1Ω;

R21+R2=6Ω
R2=5Ω (Not possible)

Take R1=5Ω;

5R25+R2=6Ω
R2=30Ω (Not possible)

Take R1=8Ω;

8R28+R2=6Ω
R2=6Ω (Possible value of resistance)

Take R1=4Ω;

4R24+R2=6Ω
