Solution

The correct option is C utilizes ATP
Photorespiration occurs within three cell organelles - chloroplast, peroxisomes and mitochondria. It is a wasteful process as there is no synthesis of sugars nor ATP. Contrary, there is utilisation of ATP. Photorespiration is the result of oxygenation capability of RuBisCO. Unlike photorespiration, respiration that occurs in mitochondria generates lot of ATP.
