Causes of civil war in Russia-

• The condition of the farmers had become very miserable.
• The condition of the worker was very deplorable .
• The autocratic rule of the Czar had become quiet inefficient.
• The teaching of Karl Marx also encouraged the people to raise a standard of revolt.
• The revolution of 1905 also proved a dress rehearsal of the revolution of 1917.
• The Czars participation and defeat in the first world war proved the last straw to break the camels back.

Effects and results of civil war-

• End of autocratic rule-Revolution brought an end to the autocratic ,self-willed and despotic ruler in Russia.
• Government of the Proletarians-After the revolution ,the power came in the hands of the Proletarians or working under the leadership of Lenin.The union of the soviet Union was formed on the basis of the Bolsheviks principles.
• New economic change-The land was forcibly taken away from the landlords and distributed among the peasant .The management of the factories was handled over to the workmen.All the debts were cancelled.
• End of the Russian Imperialism-The Russian revolution also put an end to the Russian imperialism.Many countries which groaned under the Russian bondage were set free.
