Revan is trying to open a bottle of pickles. But he is not able to do so. What do you suggest to him and why?

Revan is not able to open the bottles as the bottle would be tight.
He should take a bowl of hot water and put the upper end of the bottle in it for 5-10 minutes.
Then he can easily open the bottle as the upper end of the bowl will expand on heating.
