Rights and the protection of rights are the healthy signs of growth and development especially when it is the country like India, where at every corner diversity at its full bloom can be observed and minorities like religious minority, cultural minority, lingual minority etc are a part of the composition of Indian population. If the country like India has to touch the areana of development and progress then an equality in every aspect has to be maintained with every element of the society especially the minorities because the fear of majority has given rise to various evil elements like communalism and naxalism which are hindering the very progress of minority and marginalised groups, hence the protection of minorities against the majority is the need of the hour so that the fruits of development can be observed in India as well. Thus rights are the pillars on which the equality of both minority and majority is based and protection of these rights for every section is a wall against the injustice and bais.
