Fraction of income to be distributed $=\frac{2}{5}$
Number of daughters $=4$

Each of his daughter will recieve = Fraction of income to be distributed $÷$ Number of daughters

$=\frac{2}{5}÷4=\frac{2}{5}÷\frac{4}{1}=\frac{2}{5}\times \frac{1}{4}=\frac{1\times 2}{5\times 2\times 2}=\frac{1}{5\times 2}=\frac{1}{10}$
Each of his daughters will receive $\frac{1}{10}$ of his income.
