$\therefore$ $\frac{\text{x}}{\text{2}}=\text{20}$

Multiply both sides by 2
$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{\text{2}}\times 2=20\times 2$
$\Rightarrow x=40$

Distance traveled by Robert = $x$ = 40 km

Given ,
Distance traveled by Sam $=3\times$ Distance traveled by Robert
