Solution

Dear Student,

We use unitary method here:In 14 steps, rohan covered=2.8 mIn 1 step, rohan covers=2.814In 150 steps, Rohan will cover=2.814×150=2×15=30m
We can also use ratio proportion method:

Let distance covered in 150steps be x,ATQ,In 14 steps, he covers 2.8 m and in 150 steps he will cover x metres.So,14:2.8::150:xProduct of extreme=Product of mean14×x=2.8×150x=2.8×15014x=30m

Regards.
