Total weight of the fruits in the basket,

=> 2 kg 300 g + 750 g {Since 1 kg = 1000 g}
=> 2300 g + 750 g {2 kg = 2 × 1000 = 2000 g }
=> 3050 g

Now, the extra weight which they can add to the basket is,

=> 5 kg – 3050 g
=> 5000 g – 3050 g
=> 1950 g

The weight in kg and g unit,
=> 1950/1000 = 1.950 kg

=> 1 kg and 950 g
