then his Father's age is $x+26$

and his Grandfather's age is $x+26+20=x+46$

Since sum of their ages $=84$

we have $x+x+26+x+46=84$

$\Rightarrow 3x+72=84$

$\therefore x=4$yrs

Hence Rohan's father's age is $30$ yrs
