The correct option is A What is the focal length of the convex lens?
(A).Distance of object from lensu=5026=24cm
Distance of the screen from the lensv=7450=24
From lens formula,
1v1u=1f
124124=1f
242=f
f=12cm
(B). Now when the object is shifted to distance of 38 cm u=5038=12cm
Since u=f, the image will form at infinity.
