Solution: (B) Rounding off to nearest tens: If unit digit is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 then round down to nearest tens. If unit digit is 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 then, round up to nearest tens. After rounding off 43 to nearest tens, we get 40 After rounding off 98 to nearest tens, we get 100 After rounding off 250 to nearest tens, we get 250

Now, adding 40, 100 & 250,
40+100+250=390

After rounding off 390 to nearest hundreds, we get 400
