Solution

The method of rooftop gardening was used for the culturing of plants by using the space available on the roof or the terrace of the house. By rooftop gardening, the atmosphere in the house will be comparatively cooler. The usage of fans and other cooling systems will be minimised. This will help in the conservation of electrical energy. This can be helpful in coping up with the problems of the energy crisis. Kitchen wastes can be collected and converted to manure, which can be used for growing plants in the rooftop of the garden. This will help to minimise the creation of the wastes and the energy required to process and transport the wastes.
