The correct option is C 49 m 99 cm
$∵$ 1 m = 100 cm
$∴$ 15 m = 1500 cm and 34 m = 3400 cm
Rope purchased by Roopa =15 m 54 cm
= 1500 + 54
= 1554 cm
Rope purchased by Saran =34 m 45 cm
= 3400 + 45
= 3445cm
$∴$ Total length = 1554 + 3445
= 4999 cm
= 49 m 99 cm
