The overhead tank had been overflowing for quite some time. Roshaan rang his neighbour’s bell but no one answered. What would have you done if you were in place of Roshaan ? [2 MARKS]

If I was in Roshaan’s place I would have done the following. After observing that there wasn’t anyone at home I would have looked around for the main switch and switched off the domestic circuit. Incase the main switch board was not accessible I would have made a call to the Community Administrator to do the needful. To make good the water that was overflowing I would have got empty buckets from my home and collected the run offs from the roof as the overhead tank poured out and watered my garden.
