Solution

The correct option is C Charge on the capacitor in the first row is more than on any other capacitor
Given : C=2μF

Ceq=C+C2+C4+C8+C16+.....

Ceq=C⎜ ⎜ ⎜1112⎟ ⎟ ⎟=2⎜ ⎜ ⎜112⎟ ⎟ ⎟=4μF

Charge on first row capacitor is q1=2×10μC=20μC

Charge on second row capacitor is q2=1×10μC=10μC

Charge on third row capacitor is q3=12×10μC=5μC

Therefore charge on the capacitor in the first row is more than on any other system of capacitors connected in rows.

Energy stored in all capacitor is =12Ceq.V2=12×4×106×(10)2=0.2 mJ
