Solution

The correct option is B 1623 years
S.I. for 10 years = Rs (1000×5100×10)= Rs. 500
Principal after 10 years becomes = Rs. (1000+500)= Rs. 1500.
Amount on that principal after t years = Rs. 2000
S.I. on it = Rs. (20001500)= Rs. 500
t=(500×1001500×5) years =623 years
Total time = (10+623) years =1623 years
