Solution

The correct option is B Rs 2900
Given, P= Rs 2000, A= Rs 2600, T=5 years
S.I.=AP= Rs 2600 Rs 2000 = Rs 600
R = S.I.×100P×T=600×1002000×5=6% per annum
Now, P= Rs 2000, T=5 years,
R=(6+3) per annum
A=P+ P×R×T100

= Rs 2000 + Rs 2000×9×5100
= Rs 2000 + Rs 900 = Rs 2900.
